handspun yarns

Nothing is more rewarding than making a piece of textile that started from a single lock of fiber. Every fiber comes with its own story. Every combination of fiber, yarn and movement is unrepeatable, part of a continuum of fibers, hands and uses. This age-old practice is embodied knowledge, something that can never be reproduced by machines. Every yarn is full of surprising twists and turns and I feel I will never be ready with exploring the logic of science and twist.
